Working with Overseas Application Solution Companies

Although there are many website application and solution companies that claim to provide a comprehensive portfolio of services that encompass the Internet and other media in various ways. It seems many companies like this always talk about synergy, but keeping up their end of the bargain in terms of deliverables is much to be desired for.

I was unfortunate enough to have partnered with one of them early this year. But their main focus is that sought after USD, not customer service and communication as so thought.

To top it off in addition to this resource not being around for weeks and even months at a time, it seems they may also be in the market for stealing ideas from hard working Americans that depend on these types of partnerships to make their business work. The open-source language itself if highly sought after among many of these overseas firms and for many if they can clone it, and re-sell it; they will. This means they are stealing.

To be honest I work with many overseas firms, many of which I have developed lasting personal relationships with some of the employees and owners. But just like any business you have to be selective about who you partner with. Fortunately enough there are full service marketing and website development companies like my own, that test the market for other Americans so they don't have the same fate with their website design / development or marketing experience.

Also, instead of emailing me to tell me thanks for giving away jobs to overseas firms instead of to over-priced consulting and development agencies here in the US, it would be nice to have someone thank us for saving them the time and trouble of being in financial ruin due attacks that smaller companies just can't handle in such tough economic times.

Overall you must be cautious when dealing with any business that does not come with website client credentials and references that are respected and legitimate. Do not hesitate to check them twice before entering any agreement with them.

Good long-term and even residual business will come from companies that have good business relationships and that are using reliable marketing practices.

This Guy Asked Me, "What's the Point, In Getting A Website" this week.

This week on one of my many B2B marketing campaign stops. I was speaking with the owner of a car dealer here in New England and he actually said it. He asked that same question I hear all the time. Although I had to bite my tongue, the very sound of those words literally irritated my ears to the fullest. I wanted to shake him and say, "God Man!". How can some business owners still not understand the potential for a business with a website as an extension of their storefronts , parking lots and catalogues.

There are many choices and options just to even get started and it could be quite confusing when you are starting out.

But not understanding how to make it all work and not getting the point that it does work are completely diffrent topics.

Why can't some business owners just swallow their pride and stop trying to figure out what they don't know and let someone else do the job someone else knows and let them focus on running the rest of their business.

From the very nature of this and many more of my blogs, my own mission has become to help people understand the value in this technology that the net delivers to us.

How could this one guy be so blind to the fact that there was so much potential in using new media marketing methods to get more customers to his location.

Here's a business that has a brand new website and they don't have a clue how to manage it properly.

Opening his mind wasn't easy. But I left him with some information and made and appointment for next week.

Hopefully I can help him to understand the potential with a nice SEO program that can show him the point in having a website.

What's the Point of Drunk Driving Anyway?

Drunk driving is pretty stupid. But are some drunk driving laws rational? Definitely anti-drunk driving videos like this send a clearer message.

Would you agree that marketing the worst case scenario is important to send the point across to the viewer, but in some cases I can also understand were this can be taken advantage of. It seems fair enough to say that in some places this type of sub-zero tolerance wouldn't exactly warm up to people quickly but in the long run it would save many lifes.

Just in case some of you decided not to watch the videos here are some anti-drunk driving resources from AAA this holiday season.
